we d idn't have much time
Frank Zappa & the Mothers
were at t he best place around
But some stupid with a flare gun
burned the pl ace to the ground.

They burned down the gambling house
it died with a n awful sound
Funky & Claude was running in and out,
pulli ng kids out of the ground
When it all was over,
we had to f ind another place
Swiss time was running out
it seemed tha t we would lose the race.

We ended up at the Grand Hotel
it was empty, cold and bare
But with the Rolling Trucks Stones thing just
outsi de, we made our music there
With a few red lights an' a few old beds,
we made a pl ace to sweat
No matter what we get out of this,
I know, I know we'll never forget.
